About the SESBA Sustainability Awards
Small businesses are diverse and resourceful—and so are the sustainable products, methods and solutions they innovate for a greener earth.
The SESBA Sustainability Awards celebrates small businesses and individuals championing sustainability through:
- Renewable energy
- Water conservation
- Waste and recycling
- Transportation and logistics
- Closed-loop systems
- Employee equity
- And more
Who SESBA Is For
To be eligible, your business must have fewer than 500 employees and operate in the U.S.
The awards are open to businesses from all industries, including:
- Food and beverage
- Logistics and transportation
- Professional services
- Landscaping
- Healthcare
- Hospitality
- And more
How SESBA Works
Either nominate an individual or organization—or send us your story as a short video, a podcast, or a blog post!
We’ll select 15 organizations and individuals that are leading the way through innovative solutions and sustainability advocacy.
There will be two first and three second places for each of these three categories. First places will be awarded $5,000 each, while second places will win $2,500 each.
Award categories include:
- Businesses advancing a sustainability-first approach
- Businesses transitioning into sustainable practices
- Individuals championing sustainability in business
- And more
As a SESBA recipient, your sustainability innovations and achievements will inspire other small businesses to take action for a cleaner planet.
Enter Your Business
To enter as a business or sustainability champion, send in either a:
- Short video (5 minutes long or less)
- Podcast (8 minutes long or less)
- Blog post (600 – 1,000 words)
In your submission, please be sure to:
- Provide the context to the sustainability challenge you’re addressing
- Previous strategies that failed
- Strategies that work
